Here’s my dream car, a 2012 997.2 S. Back on black, having finally arrived a week ago from Vancouver, WA, she got a full bath and I was just shocked at how good the paint is for being 8 years old. Nothing fancy, I know, but I love simple, analog cars with few frills. It’s got PASM, Sport Chrono, 18-way seats, Turbo 2 wheels, and a clean bill of health from Marque Motors.

I plan on driving the doors off of it.

Looks great!! Is this a black edition? The turbo 2 wheels are awesome. I have them as well..

I’m new to the Pool of Porsche, but my recollection is that the Black Edition cars were base models? Could be wrong here. The VIN just lists as a 997.2 S. I’m planning on posting a whole thing on the car and starting a logbook here (I assume that’s okay?), as I have several outstanding questions that I can’t find easy answers to. Maybe this is another one for the list!

Default My Customized Toy

Took a year but got mine dialed in for me, there are no English words for how fun it is to drive, so I'll just say Meisterstück.

it’s the SeaSucker ski rack, held by suction cups. Works quite well.

Picked this up last week. A 2010 C2S manual with Fuch style classics. Was initially looking for another air cooled (964) but gave up after a few months of searching. Was told to look at Gen II 997s, and the more I looked into them the more the car made sense and my head was turned to the dark side of water cooled.
