I love the look of black cars and my 997 is a black on black color scheme (though I am not thrilled with the prospects of trying to keep a black car looking clean). So would I go back to the stock color? That will all depend on the condition of the paint when the car is eventually unwrapped. Remember I do not know what the paint looks like since I bought the car used already wrapped. If the paint looks like cr@p or if some paint peels off during the unwrapping phase, I will likely re-wrap it. But if the paint looks good, I might consider keeping it. For sure whoever wrapped the car did a good job and there is no point in unwrapping it any time soon since it is still in good shape. Also a few weeks ago I met someone at a PCA event who had a flat black wrap on his 997 Turbo and his wrap looked great and he told me the wrap was two years old. I have always garaged my 911s (I have an attached garage at home and pay for indoor parking at work) and have never winter driven the 911s. So this wrap might last 2+ years. Only time will tell.

Absolutely. For example my Colnago Master before an early ride. I get some weird looks when my mountain bike is on the roof though. I also have a ski box that will be going on in a couple months.

997.2 - Last of the 911s whereby you can actually get a view of motor/ plenum / manifold , etc. just by opening the engine lid!
