power windows-one touch feature
Just a question guys, on a 2006 C4S can anyone confirm for me that this vehicle has one touch up and down on both drivers and passenger side windows. It would seem reading the owners manual that it should but mine doesn't work on the passenger side. A little back ground i recently had the battery disconnected for about 4 hours while i replaced the alternator/ starter cable. Once reconnected i relearned the window stop position by rolling up the window until it stops then releasing the switch and then pushing up one more time. Can anyone confirm 100% that the passenger side window should have one touch up and down and perhaps what to do after disconnecting the battery, i swear to God it worked before i changed the cable

One touch up will only work on the passenger side once the window is halfway up I believe.
There are aftermarket products (RemoteKey from Mod4cars) that fix this:

Elusive is indeed correct, you can release the passenger switch once it exceeds the halfway mark on closing. Drivers side has one touch open and close, passenger has one touch opening.

socal,
Your sunroof is indeed one touch.
The open and close toggle is the oval button on your overhead dash and it surrounds a round button. Normally you would press on the outer edge of the oval button for open or close, instead press the very inside of that oval button for auto function

I was about to chime in that my '09 Cab has one-touch passenger open and close no matter how far the window is opened. I couldn't figure out why you Coupe guys were talking about the window having to be half closed before the one-touch function kicked in, and then jhbrennan posted the link.
Why in the world would the Cab and Coupe have different functionality on the passenger side window?

seems strange, but this is exactly how mine works. drivers window and sunroof are one touch, but my pass. window has to be halfway up before you can release or use one touch. not sure of the logic on this one...

ok thanks for all the input, the one touch feature has started working again, I have done nothing to the car other than relearn the fully closed position as noted in the owners manual. both windows function identically one touch feature works on both doors

As Iceter pointed out and as explained in the owners' manual, your cab is now working as it should. Us coupe owners have to live with the strange passenger window operation.
