Ooops, not sure of US cars, i can only speak for row cars 09 up. But i wonder if they would use a different system for the sunroof mechanism for US models and row. Might not be economical, unless there is a law requiring something unique for us models regarding safety and sunroof operation.

 

Or maybe you also need to do something like the windows memory setting for one close and open. Just guessing here. Worth a try if one likes the feature.

 

Asked the dealer to ck with PIWIS, wrote to PCNA and complained to no avail, FYI!
I would be very happy if you could come up with a solution!
