OP...you can also run by any Pep Boys or AutoZone. They will clear the code for you for free.
Were you actually able to reset the service light with their app?

I've yet to have a service interval light come on, but it definitely clears CEL's and codes. CEL came on when I didn't tighten the gas cap tight enough and created a vacuum leak. Worked great.

Bought it on the 18th. Got it in the mail today, must be air mail from China. I was expecting to wait 2 weeks for it. Well, I can't figure out how to upgrade the firmware.

Same thing here. Ordered it on the 19th, got it today the 23rd. Shipping notice said to expect it between Jul 7 and Aug 10. Mine is postmarked out of Rosemead, CA.

Not using it on the 7GTS, using it on my wife's BMW 335d. I have a Durametric for the Porsche.

Anyone wants to take the Launch X-431R off my hands? Apparently it works on 997, but not 991. Argh

Have you updated the firmware? Have you contacted the eBay seller or x431.com?
