Just renewed it- $275.68. The only variable is weight and since the 911 is the lightest car we own it costs the least to register it.

No property tax on vehicles and our property tax is not bad. However we pay Gross Excise Tax (GET) on everything, and gas taxes are high as is our income tax.

Years ago Oregon was $22.00--for two years! I think it's come up a bit but it's still very reasonable. No wonder so many Californians buy a garage in Oregon right over the border!

I was under the impression everything was less south of the border. I feel we are the most highly taxed in North America..

Here is Quebec Canada my 2010 gt3 is $650.O0 and a 2001 Subaru outback is $250.00

Plus, our property taxes are crazy high as well. The levy is approximately
2.2 % of the value per year. So, on a house valued at $500,000.00, the annual property taxes will be approximately $11,000.00 per year.

Additionally, we have State Income Tax.

What's more.... our weather consists of 6 months of winter and 6 months of bad weather.
Sounds like its time to move

Texas will have what was mentioned before in terms of taxes and cost. Nice to very Hot and humid weather the rest of the time - but you wouldn't have to park the 911 in the winter.
