I live in NJ and we are supposed to have a front plate on the car. I am struggling to put it on the car because it looks so sharp with out.
Any one else with the same problem?
I have attached a cool photo that I took after the rain and played with some special effects.

I'm also supposed to have a front plate in WA. 7 years and counting, no ticket yet. If I get the ticket ($100 I think) then $14 a year on average for no front plate is still darn good deal.

Front tags required here as well. I've made it 9 months without any problems. I've even been directly behind cop cars a bunch of times and they've never noticed (or cared enough).
I keep my front tag under the driver seat and if I get pulled over will show it and try my luck.

I just bought an 08 997s that had a pretty nice aluminum bracket that screws in where the front tow hooks go. The previous owner even had the factory cover stored in the glovebox. I think it looks pretty nice. He said it cost around $100

definitely do not put a front plate on it
Do a calculation on how often you think you may be cited vs the cost of that ticket vs the traffic cam tickets which it may prevent and then estimate the damage to the awesome appearance of your expensive car. It is a very easy decision to not put the plate on the car.
Judging by the way you like to park on vertical surfaces you are a risk taker, so I don't think you will put on the front plate.
Of course if you are the type of person who stops at a stop sign in the middle of the desert even though there are no other cars for a hundred miles, then you may want to put a plate on for "peace of mind".

No I would not put one on, buy the part that screws into your Tow Hook, that is what I did. Unfortuantely for me I already had holes so I went with Bumperplugs for that fix.

I have had good success setting up a plate mounted to a tow hook and leaving it in the front boot...
If I am asked I say its in the car, forgot, was at the track, don't allow there, will put it on, etc.... and temp install. Worked well to date.
PA tho has no front tag requirement so Police down here are more used to the look...esp at the coast. Your mileage may vary.

No front plates on three vehicles, two Pcars (997.1 and 924) no issues and would not put one on. Grew up in Washington and Oregon, dad drove BMW, Porsche (yup, same 924) and VW's, no fronts, no issues I recall.

If you drive in NYS, or use the tunnels and bridges, yes you must have a front plate.
The port auth cops will stop you at the crossings, issue a fixit ticket, 155$.
I tried it without, pulled over 3 times, hassle.

I have had no front plates on my cars for over 30 years and in all that time was only stopped once by a rookie when the car was less than 1 week old and I had no plates yet.
I did have the correct dealership registration taped to the front windshield, by the dealer, exactly as required by law. The cop was ignorant and did not (apparently) know that cars do not come with license plates. He called for back-up when I refused to grovel at his feet when he told me I was in violation of the law and I told him he better call a sergeant now because he was going to need one. I was polite and professional the entire time. His back-up officer listened to me and explained the whole thing to the rookie who then said, "You are free to go" as he handed back my license, registration and proof of insurance.
I later learned the rookie did not make it through his probationary period and was let go. Hopefully he will study harder and learn more before he gets hired elsewhere.
Anyway all that to say that I do not drive fast, have loud exhaust, or anything else that would attract the attention of the local LEO's so they apparently choose to ignore me.

I think it'll become a hassle for you to get pulled over just what TT Surgeon said. You will be easy target especially during "ticket quota" days.
Btw, cam tickets captures rear plates.
Just my 0.2 cents
