Hmmm, those heavily smoked lights might be a liability in a rear-end accident, or just an excuse for a traffic stop.

I always recommend check local laws before install and ill post some night time photos. There still bright in the dark.

Smoked light in la are still popular. Plus remember at lease in CA the law states a red reflective surface visible under braking at 200 feet which the 3rd brake light covers in this case. Post some photos in the dark later today

For what it's worth, I ordered a set for LED DRL's from Del Ray a couple of weeks ago, they shipped to NYC in a few days, snapped in easily, and look the business--I've no complaints.

As soon as they have the non-smoked rears in stock, I'll be ordering those...

Quick update. The USPS claim still hasn't been resolved (2.5 months later) but I'm helping all I can. I'll ship back the busted light once the case is closed.

I had to tape up one of the contacts on both fog bulbs, otherwise the rear fogs just stay on all the time.

The LED lights have been on the car for a little bit now but I don't seem to be able to produce a decent shot of them. They look amazing.

P.S. I'll put back the clear turn signal one of these days (had to change them to pass inspection).

That is typical of these, including the Rotecs. BTW, you should only install one rear fog light, on the left side assuming you're in North America.

Shane,

Can you pass me the HK manufacturer or distributor's contact? I travel to HK frequently and would love to check the products they offer in person. Is the company name "Lumen"?

Beware when ordering from him.
He probably insured to cover the wholesale cost of the item. That's what I do. Regardless, this retailer should not put the burden of the shipping problem on their customer.

Shane, another tip--you may want to stop posting in this thread and move the discussion to a new one. The continued comments keep bumping the thread title "Beware del Rey Customs" up to the top of the forum page.

Probably not something that you want every visitor to see every time they come to this board.

Just sayin'.
