Do all 2011+ 997 GTS flavors come with PASM and PSE standard?

That's what my 2011 sales lit says. They were standard equipment on "Carrera GTS models"

Yes. If you got any gts questions, pm me. Or you can ask mdrumswho knows the gts a gazillion times more than me. There's a lot of us GTS guys here. I wish the pca would have a special carrera GTS special interest group.

http://www.pca.org/Regions/RegisterGroups.aspx

Anyone want to apply? Then all we would need is someone to make a cool logo and get it on shirts and hats to wear to the next pca cruise.

My local chapter just scrapped the old logo and made a new one. It's super sick and should get posted on the website soon.

Yes. Only suspension option for GTS was the Sport version of PASM. Regular PASM was stock suspension for GTS just like the Carrera S.

I read somewhere that the regular GTS suspension was a specially tuned version. I think it was in excellence or maybe pete said it on here.

edit:
Found it.

I don't think that is correct. I think the GTS PASM is the same as regular S, and the GTS optional SPASM is also the same as a regular S car optional SPASM.

No, SPASM and SC are separate options. I have SPASM on my 6 speed GTS, but no SC.

Excellence seems to think that it is true as it was posted in one of the mags that the best suspension for the GTS was the regular PASM suspension. Maybe because there really was a one off suspension. I guess we'll have to ask Pete more about this.

Could be, but it is hard for me to believe that Porsche would develop a new PASM suspension for the end of the 997.2 model run GTS. Everything I had read indicated that the suspension on the GTS was the same as regular Carrera S.

I have SPASM on my GTS and love it. I was concerned that it might be too low and too stiff for daily use, but I think it is perfect.

I sent a message to Pete Stout if he can confirm what he said. He's the only one to have mentioned this special suspension, but a guy in his position would know. In any case, I'll be upgrading my suspension so my possible specially tuned suspension will be going out the window.

+1 My configuration sheet and invoice show that P17 sports suspension and SC were separate options.

Perhaps the "special tuning" of the GTS suspension is the result of being the only wide body RWD 911?
