Default Martini Racing livery...

Ok. So it's NOT the real ones but I've now got a good collection of vintage 1/18 scale P-cars. Love the Martini Racing livery...

In order... 550 Panamerica (1954)... 908/03 Nurburgring 'Flounder' (1971) ... 917L 'Long Tail' (1970)... 911 Carrera RSR Turbo (1974)

Nice collection. I won't dare ask why the tissue box is there...

Nice! Some of these models have incredible detail. Gives one nice appreciation of the cars without the hassle of a large garage, right? Uhh...

Exactly!

Here's a few from my Gulf Racing collection, I'm more of Gulf livery fan but love Martini as well...

so where's the best site to order die-cast/scale models from? i'd like to start a collection of nice, detailed ones and not necessarily all porsches. i've searched but most of the google hits are sites that carry toys/crap.

Good question - I collect 1/43rd scale Porsche race cars and I can't find a consistent source. I specifically look for 917s, 908s and RSRs... Thanks!

Me too... I collect 1/25 scale ones of all types and have yet to find anything really nice out there and a good and consistent reliable source. Last guy I found was on ebay and from Poland when I was looking for a nice 1/25 F10 M5 model!

Check this site out. I've got these guys right here in Vancouver so I try and stop in every month to see what they have. Very cool shop. Super nice guys.

I don't know of any good single source, I use ebay mostly to find what I want.

I don't think I've seen a 997 in 1/25th scale. However, there are a number of diecast 997s in 1/24th scale. Mostly Turbos and GT3s, but Welly also makes a 997.1 C2S.

For plastic model kit lovers, there is only one kit in 1/24th scale of the 997. It's a GT3R made by Fujimi. I posted about it here: https://rennlist.com/forums/997-foru...the-997-a.html

Here's a pic of my finished 1/24 plastic model:

And a pic of the real car. There are also after market decals for other racing livery such as Flying Lizard etc.
