So my buddy has zero'd in on a '10 C2S cab in NorCal. Has anyone used Tony Hazek at Heyer Performance in Mountainview for a PPI? or have a recommendation for a good Indy to take the car into for a PPI. thx.
I've heard good things about them but have not used them personally. If the car is in the east bay area (not Mountainview) and Dublin is not too far to drive, Khalers is also good for PPI. http://www.kahlers.com/index.php
There are a lot of good shops in the Bay Area so it really depends where the car is and how far he or seller is willing to drive.
Actually, I went there for my PPI. He was very nice and clearly knows his stuff, he's been worked on Porsches since the dawn of time I think. He did a thorough lookover, and insisted that I join him for a drive.
After the PPI, I decided to add an oil change and he did it for the price of the oil + the cost of the PPI.
Since I got my car a month ago that was my only experience with the shop but I would go back!

Don't have any PPI. experience nearby to recommend, but if your buddy needs any pictures/ details of the car and if he isn't from here, let me know I have some time off this week and can help take photos and send them to you/ him if it helps with the purchase, etc.

Burlingame Porsche seems to really have a good service dept. I attended the PCA Tech Tactics west in Dec. where Buringame Porsche 30 year tech Pete taught a 45 minute PPI on Cayennes.

All, thanks for the assist. Tony at Heyer was awesome! My co-worker in NorCal took a fully loaded '10 C2S cab for a PPI'd this morning. The car was so pristine Tony didn't want to charge my buddy for the PPI. What a stand up tech. My buddy insisted on compensating him for his time and they finally settle on a token $150 for Tony's time. Needless to say we will likely see a new RL member posting pics of his new 997.2S this weekend once the p-dealer finishes applying the clearbra.
