Closing out my own thread- my new Turbo wheels!
Closing out the thread that I started, I just got my "new" wheels on. These are the turbo fitment wheels on my narrow body 997.1 C2. The fitment is almost identical to the aftermarket wheels I was looking at. I got a real nice deal from a member of the other forum.
The wheels fit with no rubbing at all, even at full turn lock. My car is stock height so there is no issues with clearance in travel at all. The rear wheels are closer to flush than my lobsters by 16mm and to my eye they fit great. The tops of the wheels to not protrude past the fender wells in any way. the front wheels are 1/4 inch wider on each side. The extra full inch of rubber up front is nice to have.

I'm bummed I missed C&C this weekend. What a great day for it. The next 3 weekends are also booked with family stuff for me. I'll be getting out in April for sure!

My Turbo 1 wheels are at the refinishing shop right now. I'm considering changing the tires from the current Hankook V-12's (235/35's and 305/30's). Can anyone tell me if some tires might have a more square sidewall whereas others might be more rounded or have a bead that protrudes beyond the rim a bit more? I'm looking at the Hankook's and they look quite square but I'm considering Michelin Super Sports in same sizes. If anyone's telling me that the Michelin 305's will be wider, should I consider 295's and would that even make a difference? Maybe some of you already run this setup of Turbo 1 wheels with MSS 305/30's on a narrow body 997.1?

Really lost I thought the Carrera sports at 305 rear didn't fit well at the rear. There was a guy selling some on the parts section of this forum saying they were to wide at the rear and hence he was getting rid of them
Really want some Carrera Sports for my car...

Mine is 2005 C2 as narrow body.
I just put OEM turbo 19" wheel last night.
Ride feel is same as before and I think clearance is ok.
However, as someone mentioned it before, some angle,..it looks odd.(looks little bit wider for my car and I will post picture when weather is good)
Overall, I am very happy with it.
