Does anyone know if the 997.1 turbo wheels come in narrow body fitments? IE 8x19 ET57 and 11x19 ET67? I've been looking but can't seem to run across any.

I'm not sure of the specs, but here's a set of turbo wheels on a C2S - I think they look great: http://images.autotrader.com/scaler/..._A.562x421.jpg

Yes - I have some sitting in my garage. They are in the boxes I got my HREs in. Here's a pic of them on my car before I put the HREs on:

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the wheels are the same size - the Turbo just comes with larger spacers? At least that's what my manual hints at

No - the widebody Turbo wheels are wider and different offset.

After Porsche AG introduced the 997 Turbo with the Turbo wheels (forged, and made for Porsche by Otto Fuchs) they were soon made available for the non-AWD narrow body cars. Not being a cast wheel, the dimensions (width in inches and offset in mm) are not seen on the outside area of the wheel. If you look inside the back side of these wheels you will see that they are legitimate Porsche wheels provided the Porsche vendor logo is on them--and they will show something other than the turbo (wide) body offset.

Turbo style wheels come in three widths. One for the front and two for the rear (narrow and wide). Each have their own part number.

Actually, there are two different fronts and two different backs according to the 2009 Tequipment catalog. And here they are along with tire sizes:

C2S
Front: 8 J x 19 ET 57 Front: 235/35 ZR 19
Rear: 11 J x 19 ET 67 Rear: 295/30 ZR 19

C4S
Front: 8 J x 19 ET 57 Front: 235/35 ZR 19
Rear: 11 J x 19 ET 51 Rear: 305/30 ZR 19

Turbo
Front: 8.5 J x 19 ET 56 Front: 235/35 ZR 19
Rear: 11 J x 19 ET 51 Rear: 305/30 ZR 19

to add to the confusion- some have put WB wheels on NB cars.

So is it safe to assume a NB car could take the C4S or Turbo fitments without spacers (on rears) since many of us run 7mm front and 15mm rear spacers anyways?

for what it's worth, here's a picture of the difference between the C2S (19x11.5 +67, Green) and Turbo (19x11 +51,red) rear wheels. they only stick out a wee bit more.

I run WB Turbo rims on my NB C2S. The rears are exactly flush with the fender, however if you run a 305 with wide shoulders or a thick protective lip (ala Michelin Pilot Super Sport), the tire will protrude from the top of the fender, however I have never had it rub. It only looks a bit odd from particular angles imo. The fronts fit fine, in fact I still run 5mm spacers on the front wheels which push them nearly flush, which makes them better match the fitment of the rear. Again, no rubbing.

Another factor is that the WB Turbo rims have a more dynamic looking "dish". The offset of the face looks more aggressive than the NB fitment.
