Ate super blue or factory brake fluid

I believe the majority of the complaints about staining from the blue is by 996 owners--perhaps the reservoir plastic breaks down over time (since the 996s are older) and begin to absorb some of the fluid's color.

It will stain your shirt too.....you are supposed to put it inside the system. Sorry to be flippant, but the blue does not hurt anything. It just makes it easier to see fresh fluid when you alternate between blue and yellow...at least for me.

I alternate amber and blue, but ATE Super Blue is being withdrawn from the market because it doesn't meet DOT 4 standards, which require brake fluid to be amber. Not sure of this is US only or worldwide, but ATE super blue is disapearing from shelves here.

You should be OK with one quart.
The trick is to know when to stop (a.k.a. when the old fluid is out). That's why the trick is to alternate between blue and gold.
Here's the sequence:
Right rear first, then left rear, then right front, then left front.
At each caliper: inner nipple first, then outer nipple

Super blue works great and no staining.
Yes you bleed the outer nipple first, then the inner nipple. The principal is always to bleed the farthest away from the Master cylinder first. Outer nipple is the farthest distance.

I use ATE typ 200. Read it same as blue... but its not blue.I track my car on street tires and OEM brakes and have not had issues with the fluid boiling. I will be going with motul if I ever goto R compound and FPC pads.
