What's up with all the Ruby Red 997.2's for sale right now?

And the reason these launch cars are so numerous right now is that they are now 4 years old and:
A: The four year leases have come to an end en mass.
B. The warranty is about to expire.
Nothing wrong with these cars in general. Just time for all these folks to move on to the next thing.
I believe that the dark green/tan coupes with PDK were more specific to the initial 997.2 C2 launch. There certainly seemed to me like a lot of them at dealers when the the 997.2 was introduced. Could just be what caught my eye. My local dealer had two, and PCNA gave a similar combo car to Hurley to "promote" throughout that year.
