Absolutely +1.... Brakes are cheap compared to a transmission.

understatement of the year. seriously, dont waste $ on labor (especially at a stealership!). i was skeptical before i first tried years ago but if you can change a lightbulb, chances are you can do a brake job with no problems if you follow the DIY.
