Ha. Got 8" last week, but thankfully they're gone. Saturday looks to be a nice day to spend some time under the car. Wound up doing the ceramic coating, so it took an extra week.

I had Fister stage 3's on my 993, and they were the best sounding exhaust I've ever heard on ANY Porsche, both from inside the cabin and outside. If I ever get a 997 again, installing the Fister exhaust will be the first thing I do.

Talked to Darin today and was told that I'm next on the waiting list for a non-S exhaust.
What's the consensus on the ceramic coating. Is radiated heat really an issue worthy of another $170??

OH YEAH! ![evilgrin](https://rennlist.com/forums/graemlins/evilgrin.gif)
Put them on yesterday. From the threads I've read, easier than the 997.1. One easily accessible bracket and two bolts on the cat flange. Still a pain in the neck (literally) doing it on your back in the driveway.
Today, 300 m drive through the Catskills with a Rennlist contingent with most of the time spent between 5 & 6k rpm. We won't disclose the gear. Totally awesome. Also got positive comments from those subjected to the wail on the outside. Then on the highway - 3k rpm, radio on - can't tell that it's there. Perfect!
