Since my poster of the tech marvel 959 above my bed as a child to the head snapping, staring & drooling I am still afflicted with now, I have always dreamed of a Porsche. Well, it happened. A couple of weeks ago I picked up a 2008 997 Carrera S 6spd in Arctic Silver. My face hurts from smiling.

I'm grateful because of the incredible amount of info I have found here, from a cost effective solution of replacing the battery, to my oil change, to narrowing down my car of choice. You guys (and gals?) have helped me a ton and I owe you one. I am kind of a quiet guy with little to offer in terms of Porsche knowledge, so you may not hear much from me but I will continue to follow the board and pitch in if and when I can.

Thanks, really.

I think the only appropriate thing to do here now is to take a better picture of the Z.

Thanks everyone. To accommodate the request of a couple of guys above here is a pic of the other side of the garage. Good to see some other Z fans around. Unfortunately, I may be getting ready to sell her. A little tough to justify both cars... especially to the Mrs.

Nice cars Jason. Just put in a 4 post lift and then you'll only use half the garage.
