I have the Fister mod sides and Sharkwerks primary bypass combo on my 997.2. I did all of the work myself and I am very very happy with the result. Louder without being even close to obnoxious. Everyone who rides with me smiles broadly- from my 5 year old nephew to my 82 year old neighbor. I can virtually guarantee anyone would be pleased with this setup compared to Tubi and even happier with the 3 grand still in his pocket. Even my conservative wife LOVES it!

...one thing I did notice after I got my fister mod and changed out to Fabspeed tips ( that maybe I didn't notice before with stock ) is that when idling at cold start first time of the day there's some water drops found below my each of my tips.

Wonder if this is normal from condensation or if anyone has similar observations?

Happy with the sound and can't wait to get my Sharks bypass installed.

Most aftermarket exhausts, if not all, will reduce back pressure, not increase back pressure. Hence, more free-flowing=more exhaust note.
I've never heard of a CEL being thrown from the gundo, or any other decent exhaust aftermarket system, at least from cat back. If you do headers and free-flowing cats, all bets are off. You need a tune.
This question needs to be asked of your service advisor, and to save you some time, they'll hem and haw, and tell you that anything other than OEM stuff exposes you to something not being covered under warranty.
In think the only thing that can be possibly directly related to an after market exhaust system would be a burnt exhaust valve. It would be a stretch to attribute anything else to the exhaust.

Do any of these exhaust mods create a drone?
I put a quality AWE system on my Cayman a few years back, and the 2-3K RPM drone was unbearable. Eventually went back to the factory exhaust.

I bought the AWE after an extensive web search indicated that the AWE had the least drone of all aftermarket Cayman exhasut systems.

Yeah I know these are entirely different cars, however want to be certain not to make the same (costly) mistake twice.

My new purchase is a 2007 C2S. Will post a pic soon.

First post - terrific website. Thanks

Zero drone on my gundo with 2" pipes. As far as I know, Tubi, PSE exhaust setups aren't known to drone either.

I can confirm no drone with Tubi.
I'll say that when you're cursing along, it's almost as quiet as stock. Doesn't matter what gear or rpm, though, when you add throttle, it's louder.
You may also get a burp or 2 on shifts. I'm fond of burps....

Guys with gundo's are going to say gundo - guys with tubi's are going to say tubi (who's going to spend +$3k and say they made a mistake??)

I have the gundo and love it on my 997.1. Tubi sounds ok too but not $3500 ok

No drone, no check engine lights and I get some burble on downshifts as well - i also have Fisters Stage 3 on my 993 and its downright wicked - way more aggressive then the same hack on the 997

Me too on the 993. Nothing on this planet sounds like a 993 with Fisters at 5,000 RPM's.
