Default Has any ADDED ventilated seats to their 997.2?

I have an 09 C2S Cab that I love. It doesn't have ventilated seats, but I originally didn't care. Why? My other car was a 09 Jaguar XF with ventilated seats and they barely worked at all. I considered the technology novel, but not workable. But was I wrong! Porsche does it right.

I sold my Jaguar XF and I'm ordering a 13 Cayenne GTS! It's awesome. The sound of that car is awesome. I digress... The Cayenne I test drove had ventilated seats and they work! They work great!

I live in Texas, and it's hot a lot. Add a black interior to a cab, and it's more hot. I want to replace my existing seats on my 997.2 with ventilated seats. Has anyone done this? I'm not worried about cost. Can it be done? (I'm sure anything is possible). Has anyone successfully ADDED ventilated seats?

I see this is an old post, but wanted to know if anyone has done a retrofit? If it can't be done, I'd imagine the only way would be to replace the entire seat?

Not only seat, but electrical and vent "plumbing" too - probably pretty costly if it even could be done.

I figured a switch in the dash, which is not big deal. What is the vent plumbing? I figured it was just a fan and a few other misc. parts built into the seat?

I have cooled seats and like them but they're not THAT great. You don't feel them that much.

back to the original OP - from doing research on here and other places, i've determined that adding most any "originally offered options" after the fact is costly if not impossible. many of those options need original porsche harnesses, built in switches, ECU mapping, etc, that arent built in as default unless the option was originally ordered. that being said, there are plenty of aftermarket folks selling plenty of original-ISH stuff (i have a dension unit myself) that work well enough. good luck.
