Just received them, can't wait to put them on. High quality welding as you can tell.

Nicely done.
Are they actually sitting on the ground?!

Which coating did you opt for?

I installed my Fister mufflers a couple of days ago. Along with my Sharkweks the sound is pretty awesome. I highly recommend it, and I agree with the comment that the workmanship is top notch. Same with the Sharkwerks pipes, by the way.

What does the coating look like / what is it made of? Any chance the heat from the mufflers could bake off the coating?

The mufflers look fantastic. The quality of the welding and refinishing appears to be top notch! Enjoy making noise.

Q: Where did you put the jackstands? It's hard to tell from this angle.
Are those two canister parts the cats?
Does the bumper cover have to come of for the installation?

Thanks

Those canisters are the cats.
Bumper does not have to be removed.

Jackstands are set for safety only and are set at the end of the cross arms. The canisters are the cats and i had them all ceramic coated. It is true, you do not have to remove your bumper but it is much easier to work with the bumper off. The bumper comes off very easily, i like to work with lots of room and at the same time it gives me an opportunity to learn about the car.

I would highly recommend removing the bumper.

Hi John

Did you have any issues with the clips or getting the bumper back on?
I have long skinny fingers, so I opted to lay on the floor and do everything.
Getting the O2 sensors out was the hardest bit.

Can you give a quick tutorial on bumper removal? I am doing this this weekend
Can you leave the wheels on and use ramps instead of jackstands

You can leave the wheels on but you will have much more room if you take them off. The bumper is being help in place by (i believe) 4 or 5 screw at the top bumper in the engine bay 2 exactly right below that 2 on each side behind each rear wheels and the most important ones, 1 screw near the upper end of the bumper behind each wheel. It then slides right out, that should not take you more than 5-10 min tops.

They are ceramic coated, i beleive they can withstand over 2,000°F. Only time will tell.
