The 1.75" Hack is much more aggressive but not annoying. It is very quiet on with zero drowning. When you put the hammer down the car really comes alive now. The stock 997.1 exhaust system isn't exactly peaceful so this little upgrade is very nice.

On my 997.2 C2S, I did the gundo with a 2" stainless pipe and the Fabspeed X-pipe. Sounds great at idle and really geat at 3000-5000 rpm. A over that, the air intake sound begins to become dominate and sounds about the same as before (in my opinion).

Did it in the ground by removing the bumper, which is an easy job (15mins or less). I've spent too many years on my back working in cars and now getting lazy!

Ok so this may be a stupid question but all they show on their site is the setup for a 997.1, I have a 2011 997.2 and am interested learning more about this. For those of you running this setup did you just call them up? Also on the pricing, I'm assuming it's $265/ side? I currently have the Sharkworks pipe with PSE and was wondering how much of a difference this would make. I'm assuming it's considerable.

No it's $265 total. They do 997.2 but don't have core exchange available. I shot them an email, got a very quick response. Wait, you have PSE - this is for people who don't have PSE. It just makes a normal setup sound like PSE in loud mode.

Ahh got it. Thanks for the clarification. Thought I could make it a bit louder . Dont get me wrong, the Sharkworks/pse combo sounds sick as-is but thinking this would give me a bit more.

Interesting that a person would want more than what the Sharkwerks/PSE combination offers. I've heard comments before that PSE by itself is a little on the tame side for the 997.2. The Sharkwerks should have eliminated that issue... No?

Oh it sounds great, don't get me wrong. I was just thinking for that price it may be worth giving it a little more grunt . I'm very satisfied with this combo.

I thought that this feature came with sport crono. Don't you have a sport button on your dash? Maybe you have the exhaust tip symbol on a button in front of you shifter? If so....then you don't need it because that's what the hack is withouth the valves to turn it off and on.

No, PSE and Sport Chrono are separate items.

Ok....then he can do the hack right?

The Fister Mufflers look beautiful and you can get the ceramic coating that helps keep the heat in instead of radiating on to the motor.

I wish I could do a video that represented the great sound you get with these Fisters but its impossible. If you do it...you'll love the new robust sounds and raspy popping coming from the exhaust especially at 3-5k RPM's. It is a great upgrade if you don't want to drop $5-10k on a full exhaust. IMHO, you really need to do the Cats, exhaust, IPD, intake and a tune to see any real HP improvement which is in the realm of 25-30hp. Granted, you save some weight with an exhaust only amd most look amazing but keep in mind most of the bottle neck are the the cats. These are all fun upgrades especially if you do them yourself.

quick question on the fister cans. do they come with exhaust tips or did you all just go to a shop and have them weld your old ones back on? I've not crawled under to see if the OEM tips are bolted on stock or welded on.

Bolt on bolt off. You'll use you're old tips. Easy job.
