Default Champion wheels FS, early heads up

Trying a different look with a set of black HRE P40S I found. My existing Champion RG5's will soon be going on the auction block so wanted to give this crowd first dibs. Please note: Widebody offset. Not sure how that translates to 996 models but for 997 this is only a good fit for C4, C4S, Targa, GTS, Turbo, GT3RS and GT2/GT2RS.

Just over 15,000 miles on the wheels with very slight imperfections which will be fixed. These imperfections are mild superficial scratches on the rear lips by the valve stems. Zero curb rash. The wheels as sold will be near flawless. Last I checked a set of these sold for around $5,000. Asking $1,995 firm + shipping rather than starting higher and haggling down. These are some of the strongest and lightest wheels available which is also combined with amazing quality in the finish.

Beautiful classy wheels and well built too. Good Luck with the sale...these should go fast! If I had 5 lug hubs I'd be driving down to pick them up today.

Widths/Offsets? Very nice wheels.

I'm contemplating a 5 lug switch.

+1 for wheel specs - diameter, widths & offsets. I'd like to run some numbers to verify 997.1 NB fitment

Same here. I have started a 5 lug fund so that I can get champions or volks. I would keep them as champion wheels are much stronger than hre wheels. I'm sure it will go to a good home.

Why change. Those are great! GLWS, if they fit a C2S, I'd probably jump. They look pretty similar to the HREs.

I know you would. So nobody else bit on your swap proposal? As for going fast, yes they did. I have two buyers lined up at full asking price.

19" wheels. Fronts are 8.5" and rears 11.5". I don't have the offset figures but the rears will stick out past the fenders on a NB.

Just ready for something different. I like darker wheels on a grey car and came across a nice set of black HRE P40's priced right so why not.

Besides you I had a guy just wanting the hubs but not the rotors or wheels on CL nuts....odd huh? I could see not the rotors and that's fine but he will need the other parts.

I gave up on the swap project. There are way more people tracking CL's than there have been issues with them breaking. From what I can tell it's user error that is causing CL hub damage.

Beautiful wheels!

I'm running 11" rears with Turbo offset and they don't even come close to extending beyond the fender, however, given these are 11.5" they may or might be close.

I might be interested as well. I am probably very close to you (South Florida) or maybe not. The concern as others is fitment. I have a 997.1 C2 with Stock Conti's 18"

Not a good fit. The widebody offset will make the wheels stick out past the fenders on your car.

To all who responded: Many thanks for the interest and the offers. The member who has been first in line says he's still committed though. If he changes his mind I'll work down the list.

The HRE's are mounted and the Champions sit in the garage waiting to get cleaned up. I hope to ship this week. If anything changes I'll be in touch.
