Paj: You should also have a display unit for the 9500ci inside the cabin. Mine was on top of steering column case (see attached photo). Where is yours?

Beautiful Targa, by the way!

Thanks.

The display is below the parking brake. Not the easiest to see when driving, but the audible alerts are enough once you get to know the system.

Nice looking Targa. Are the wheels painted Meteor Gray Metallic to match the car?

In my opinion it is one of the best looking 997's. I love the rear light strip, the wider hips and the targa roof. Yours is even nice with the full leather option!

Enjoy in good health!

Yes, they are. Before I saw them in person, I planned on swapping them out with Turbo style wheels. Now, I'm definitely keeping them!

Thanks. The original owner added the black fender guards after he bought the car. I'm not sure if they were ever an option on 997 Carreras...

Question.. Who sells the black stone guards?? Are they applied over the factory clear ones?? From a Targa 4 owner, your car looks great.. Enjoy it..

Hi Steve,

Thanks - your Targa looks great too.

While I did not purchase the speedster stone guards, or have them installed, I see Suncoast sells the set for $56.01. It says they replace the factory clear stone guards, so I assume those need to be removed before installing the black guards. If you like the look, the price is right!

Very nice, but I would opt for the clear instead of the black stone guards.

The clear ones on my '11 are already yellowed.
