The larger the pipe, the louder and lower tones - more BASS

The smaller the pipe, less loud, more treble.

You can get all bent out of shape making them look perfect etc... BUT nobody will see them! So...

Git 'er done!

I like to save a buck as the next guy but why hassle when you can get FD Motorsports to do it right.

Smart decision!

I want to have FD do it for me but the my car will be out of commission for well over a week.

I have to take of the exhaust, send it to FD (2-3 days) have him do the work (2-3 days) have him ship it back (2-3 days).

Would really love to find a one stop shop in LA to get this done.

Not sure what is up with these guys. Placed my order on line using their web site yesterday and didn't hear from them. I'll give them until the end of the day tomorrow.

Darin Fister owns FD Motorsports which is a small shop and he could be the only one working on these mufflers. Give him a little time and he will deliver. Darin has been a Rennlister for over 7 years.

I exchanged 2 emails with Darin today. My mufflers arrived at his shop today. I can't wait to put them on when I get back from vacation. Teamed up with my Sharkwerks center muffler bypass pipes I'm hoping this is what my car needed to sound like a real sportscar. By the way, he strongly recommended I go with the 1.75" pipe.

$265 plus shipping is a great deal since the person doing it has experience with the job. Darin took delivery of my mufflers today. I can't wait to get them installed. I've always figured it pays to get the best of what I want, the most I can afford. Who of us cannot afford $265? Enough said.

The holes on the 2 original pipes are the same diameter as the bypass pipe?

For example:

2" bypass pipe will have 2" opening on the original pipes? Or is it slightly smaller?

Does it matter?

So why would I care about adding the ceramic coating to reduce radiated heat? Reduce engine bay heat?
