Damn that really sucks and it makes me nervous since I have a 2005 C2. Subscribed, I hope you can find a "reasonably" priced engine.

I was speaking with the guys at RAC fka RUF about what to do if I blew my engine and they also suggested looking at Renegade Hybrids instead of trying to find a used 997 engine. Just something to think about.

Keep us posted on how things turn out.

Mine was a 2005 with 50,000 miles.
This is going to cost me dearly.
