porsche SSK - precision of shifts, wonderful feel
evo intake - sound and freer breathing
200 cell cats - performance and sound
mufflers - perf. and sound
equal length headers - performance
ecu flash - full effect of intake and exhaust mods
springs - looks so much better sitting lower
nut behind the wheel...

First and least expensive mods I have done were the short shift, gundo hack and spacers.
Also, I did a lot CF interior and exterior upgrades, but that's a whole different story (more of an obsession)

This is the best advice. The vast majority of 997 owners absolutely get no where near the potential of unleashing a 997's real capabilities. You will soon find out what a tremendous vehicle it is straight out of the gates of Zuffenhausen.

Just added leather sun visors to my full leather cabin. Love that smell of new car leather in the morning.

No boost yet but missing the boost I had in my M3. I plan on the TPC mod. I ran an ASA supercharger in my E46 M3 and on low boost (6 psi) it produced 428 WHP, 320 WTQ. The power delivery was awesome and I can't wait to get the turbo for the Carrera. There are a few guys on the forums who are running TPC's turbo.

I ran an AA Tuning supercharger(6psi) on my prior E36 M3 to get 360hp. Some days I just miss the boost and the sound of forced induction.

AA is definitely legit. I lot of the E46 M3 crowd runs them. Mine was from ESS Tuning. I used to dwell over at M3 Forum and E46 Fanstics.

I too miss the sound and power!

Default Hmmm not really....

Like if someone asked for a great restaurant to have diner and your advice is to learn how to cook.... Or someone asking for an architect as they want to remodel or add an addition and your advice is to get on a program to learn how to maxmimze existing space you have??....

Advice on how to become a better driver is very much different then asking about Mods in most cases.... I do not disagree about the comment that most have never come even close to unleashing what a 997 can do *(most any sports car for that matter) but just in many cases it is just not the right answer when someone is looking to Mod or Mod advice.
