Default Spring Mods Complete

Now with summer under way and the winter months behind me I thought it was the right time to share my upgrades. I’ve spent last fall through this spring working in some mods to my stock ’06 997.

They are:

•Eibach springs – Like the three bears – not too low, not to harsh (like normal), just right (for me)
[IMG][/IMG]

•15mm rear / 7 mm front Adaptec wheels spacers (the best quality I have ever experienced)

•Lobster Forks powered coated classic Fuchs black (at least close)
•Painted brake calipers silver / with red lettering (wanted to stay true to a base Carrera with the caliper color)

•Black stone guards (Suncoast - service is excellent)
•Sport Classic Ducktail replica (I am impressed with the overall quality of the product as delivered)

•Mike’s Auto Body – Malden MA (the guy loves Porsche’s – was awesome to work with - http://www.mikesautobodyofmalden.com/)
•991 model lettering (Suncoast – see above)

This great sight has been an inspiration while I progressed. While far from being at the level of some of you I think it all pulled together pretty well.

Thanks for the look. See you on the road.

Matt

Very nice! Tasteful without being OTT. I can't forget your license plate. I did the 'gundo' to mine based on your youtube vid.

Oh wow I remember Mike's autobody when I was studying in Beantown... in 1988-90 or so!
I think even at the time he was the best autobody shop in the area. Bit pricy but worth it.

Went through similar process... Meteor grey, black factory wheels, spacers, I installed H&R's, black stone guards, AND... what you need which is a black hood badge!

BTW I Looooove the ducktail...

Thanks much for the kind words!

I love my Gundo hack every time I start the car

The color is seal gray. Meteor is a stunning color and Nick so where did you get that beautiful black Porsche badge? That is wicked nice and your car is stunning.

Matt I followed your mods as you added the ducktail. Was an inspiration - it looks great on your car...

Bets,

Matt

Matt (MA) I got it on ebay.
The sellers name is interestedparty.
He may be out but he can make any color. Look him up. He sandblasts them and paints them any color, so go for satin black not flat...
Make sure you tell him its for a 997, first one he sent was a bit more curved - ours are flat in the back.

Matt (Greek?) thank you. Here are some of my mod threads... Its been a great process.
The one on exhaust tips and rear emblem
The one on the black wheels
The one on Europipe install
The one on rear Led lights (which have since been changed to another set)
The one about the final touches (last batch of pics on page 2)

By the way, congrats to both, your cars look great!
