Anyone disagree that with a IMS update 05 is just as "risky" as 07 as long as some type of warranty is obtained?
I think the "risk" are blown WAY out of proportion, hell, 996s were the real culprits, and those risks were way out of proportion too

So at this point I've asked that the 05 be cpo'd. This way if something DOES happen I am covered for the next 2 years. I'll get back to you all with the updates. Hopefully by the end of this week I can post pictures of my new 911.... god willing!

So, to mine and I'm sure to everyone else's surprise....

Looks like I'm going with a 2007 997 Turbo! 6-speed, of course....

Please feel free to leave honest comments here. My thought process on the whole 911 thing has been helped so much by your comments so far anyway....

good choice for a street. motor is rock solid metzger, if you will not have enough power you can get a 700hp EVO upgrade/flash. should last long, motor rebuild will cost more than on m96/m97 but it should not be an issue unless you will start trashing it really bad on the track. it is a nice car, you will like it.

for how much does one go these days?
