Second question, what finish are they? They look like brushed and clear coated, but would like confirmation.

With a Cobalt Blue 4S, they are the exact look I'm after.
Sorry for jacking the thread.
Dave.
Hi Dave,
These are the original brushed and clear coated version. I got these in 2009 when I got the car. I assume they will look identical on your C4S in Cobalt blue.
Just remember keeping them looking clean does take a bit of effort but worth it. Good luck.

I didn't want to jack Tom's other thread, so I'll post these here. HRE P40SCs in OEM sizing with custom offset to run 305s on the rear (and no spacer required!). The finish is called "Brush Tinted".

Bob - Yeah I love them! I can't wait to see the photos my semi-pro buddy took this afternoon. And I should have my stock NB Turbo wheels for sale soon...

They look amazing Chris. Congratulations.

Can I ask who you purchased them from? Did you shop around for pricing? I really like them and am thinking about doing the same.

Did you by any chance determine if there was a weight difference between the HRE's and the previous wheels (assuming you had stock wheels)?
I put HRE's on a Z06, and the difference was 4lbs on the fronts and 5 on the rears from stock wheels. Rolling mass, you know....
They look great btw, but those machined insets are gonna be a pain in the *** to clean...labor of love, i suppose, and not as bad as sport classics and all those damn spokes!

These were actually really easy to clean off. Weight-wise, even the guys who did the swap felt they weren't any lighter than the stock Turbo wheels. That says a lot for the Turbo wheels...

I'll get the "good" pics up as soon as I receive them.

Nicely done! Looks great Chris. Now you need all red tail lights...Super sharp, enjoy.

BTW, you may want to check out this wheel cleaner, it works well on these wheels.
