Default re-badged my Carrera 4

Re-badged, not because I think it resembles a 991 in any way but because it reminds me of the badging on my first Porsche, a 1974 911E 2.4. Paying homage so to speak, to the marque

Looks fine IMHO - but I may have preferred the 'Porsche' badge to be above the '911' one...

I think it looks fantastic and I love the homage factor to your first one. Really cool!

I thought about that and also having just '911' but, well, you know what I went for. They're only stuck on so with a bit of heat and some floss, easily changed!

Not a fan of just the 911. It's so small in such a big location and just looks out of place IMHO.

Perhaps it's your market, but the model you show is a 1973 911E 2.4 model--not a 1974. By 1974 they went to the larger crash bumpers and eliminated the "porsche" lettering along the bottom of the engine lid in favor of a red reflector. The engines grew to 2.7 liters, too.

I'm sure you're right, Dan. It was first registered in 1974 and down here it seems the year of 1st registration is referred to as the year model - crazy I know but us Kiwi are a bit! I love that you noticed and thanks for that.
