I was one of their first clients. Bought other products as well. I have repeatedly asked for the updated switch, but to no avail. He should stand behind his products, so far he has not. I tried to handle this in a non public manner, but he has ignored me. Now I hoped he comes through and I will be happy to update all.

Hello all, as for the lack of responsiveness some users were reporting, we wanted to point out something. Some users are reporting a fast customer service while others say they don't get an answer. Why is that? Well its simple, some customers are writing to the wrong email address!! When an order is placed, our website sends automated emails (such as order confirmations, status updates, and so on) from an email account we don't offer support for. As we clearly state in our website, customer support must be handle from the info@.

Just to play devli's advocate here.. it could be a legit user trying to prank us all and earn ClimaRepair bad rep.
I haven't bought anything from ClimaRepair, so I can't comment on their good service or lack thereof.
But I think we should wait for an Admin to come back with more on this..

Received my ClimaRepair buttons this morning, and being a design engineer I am well impressed. I live in New Zealand and the package arrived within a week and the quality for a reproduction is outstanding. A little pricy but you get what you pay for. Well done ClimaRepair

AC Controls affordable solution!!
I was searching through the archives of old peeling 997 climate control temp and fan switches I found the most people had either had them replaced under factory or CPO warranty.
I have less 18k miles on my 05, and never thought to have it replaced under warranty way back when.
Anyways the warranty is long over and now I'm trying figure out a solution to fixing those ugly white splotches on those buttons where the black paint has peeled off.
Is there any solutions in terms of removing only the button and replacing only those buttons or an aftermarket one of any kind from - let's say the good folks at bumper plugs or something similar?
Or maybe there's another solution likes swapping out only the toggle switches?

I bought and installed these Climarepair buttons for my 2005 997 C2S 24 months ago. The Temp button flaked and is now see through in another section.
I noticed the flaking a few months ago but it wasn't until driving in the dark that i also noticed it's see through.(don't drive at night often)
What are my options (if any) to fix this issue. Thanks Steve.

That’s interesting to hear, as I’ve had mine installed for about 2 and a half years now and they still look brand new. Do you use sunscreen and have residue on your fingers, as that can eat away at the paint on interior trim pieces. I always make sure my fingers are clear of sunscreen or hand sanitizer when touching any interior buttons. As for what you can do now, unfortunately, you’ll have to install new ones. Maybe see if Climarepair will give you any discount on a new set or buy from another vendor?
I'm in Australia and as these were expensive when factoring in delivery and exchange rate, quite disappointed to say the least. I have messaged Climarepair directly but no response so far.
