Default Ignition issue

997.2
I seem to have a ignition issue.. I think
I put key in.. Depress clutch... Turn key.. Nothing..
Restart process 2-3 more times and she finally ignites..
I even get a "Depress Clutch" displayed..very odd..

Anyone ever experience this ?

Thanks...
Matt

It is probably not an ignition issue. It is most likely the clutch switch/sensor going bad. It is a safety measure to keep the car from starting if the clutch pedal is not fully depressed. Should be a warranty item.

It's because your car looks so bad ***.

obviously it is a clutch switch getting stuck and not releasing. replace it, may be cheaper just to buy it outright from suncoast.

It can seem depressed but the part, which is plastic, I think is not disengaging the saftey mechanism stated above. I had mine replaced once already, easy fix. If you push real hard you will see your car start. It's not a full fail item as much as one that deteriorates. It's a warrenty item.

Cheers.
