Dutchie,

Please don't forget to post those pics. I too am interested in spacers, but after reading this post I am more confused wrt personal preference, NB vs WB, wheel choice, etc. I have a WB 4S fitted with Carrera Sport Wheels, so do I understand this correctly that 15mm spacers in rear may look ridiculous???

Thanks

No they wont look ridiculous but it mostly comes down to personal preference. On my C4S, I had the Porsche 5mm on mine all round and added 17mm to the back so that it is now 5mm front and 22mm back. It fills it out all the way and I think it looks fabulous. Others may disagree but who cares as I like it.

If you have standard wide body offsets on your existing rims, many run 5 front and 17 back. Mine are H&R. Lots of other threads and pics if you search for it

Vern, I very much agree with you. And, to be frank, I do think the 5/17 combo would fill in the gap and look wonderful. Personal preference, and hence my interest. Would also love to see pics of 4S Cab!

Sorry to be a Pain in the ****-- but would 17mm on back only, and nothing up front look funny? I believe, but I may be wrong, that Porsche sells the 5mm spacers as a kit for all four, but the 17mm kit for rear axle only. That's the way I'm reading it. Buying both kits is wasting some $$$. Also, according to the Porsche website, the 17mm are for 19" Carrera Sport wheels only-- which is ok by me, since that is exactly what I have. I think I'm now partially confused, but not totally confused as I was previously. Getting there...

Some bad cell phone pics - I put the H&R 17mm spacers on top of the existing 5mm on the rears attached with the long bolts - i have the 19" classics with the wide body offset of 51 on the rears - from right behind the car they are flush with the wheel wells

Agree-- bad phone pics. just kidding. It looks agressive, and fills the wells up pretty good. I got a call into my dealer for price and availability on the 17mm rears. Now I have to do it, or I won't get any sleep.

you got the fever - happens to us all - you can try H&R for the spacers. I actually got my H&R's from a fellow Rennlister for $50. You can prob find them on ebay etc if you dont like the dealer price. Easy to put on assuming you have a jack

Thanks. I will try Suncoast. I don't want to name the dealer, but let's say he's in North Jersey.
