nope. well...unless it was poorly done by aftermarket. because if done by dealer, like mine, they should have simply placed a key operated on/off switch flush with with the outer side of the passenger dash. (i.e. the side that is covered when you close the door.)

That is the flux capacitor. Be careful with it.

If that is the flux capaciter have them check the frunk for the rest of the Turbo Encabulator system.

probably aftermarket laser jammers aor something similar. bad job imho, there is plenty of space to hide this crap other than to let it hang inside in the foot well.

Well I just got back from the PPI and we have a winner! Congratulations to fskof and rcg412. The part in question is a speaker for an aftermarket bluetooth installation. A "Parrot" bluetooth to be exact.

I'm not sure why the little speaker was placed there, but I'm inclined to keep it in the car and see if I like it. If not, I'll rip it out.
