Anyone read the latest Automobile issue? Although they are still referring to the new small Porsche suv as the Cajun, they are saying that it will be available only as a coupe for the first two years with a base price of $45k. If so, that's just classic Porsche marketing. Introduce a smaller Cayenne, take away two doors and price it the same as a base Cayenne. Wait two years and bump up the price on both, than introduce a four door Macan well above the price of a Q5 and still below the new higher base Cayenne price.

Pure speculation on the part of Automobile. Due to print mags' lead time, we know more now; the actual name, and the sketch released by Porsche is clearly a 4-door Q5-based vehicle.

I am hoping for a 2-door, but in reality I don't see it happening until the next platform change - adapting a new body style this far into a platform's production run is unusual - especially for a relatively low-volume variant.
