Of course, I got the package the day after posting I hadn't received it yet. Funny how that happens.

Inroute back home today from a biz trip. Hope it's waiting for me in the mailbox. Plan to re-gift it to my 90 year old uncle... just discovered that he's a Carrera enthusius. Quote from the now blind and immoble man... "the only true Porsche is the Carrera " when we talked cars during my last visit. Gotta love/respect that... Sorry Cayenne/Cayman brothers.
BTW, does anyone know of a decent rental agency in LA where I can get a Porsche 911 for a day. I hope to give this old WWII vet a ride before it's too late. The man lives in the hollywood hills behind Tomb Raider and her hubby(Achilles). Where should I take him? Mulholland?

The only true Porsche is the "Carrera" probably refers to the infamous Carrera 4 cam found in the 356 and the 356 Speedster if you're lucky (with the roller bearings).
Today's "Carreras" are just marketing names for the latest iteration of the 911.
