Got mine a few days ago. Now we know why the 991 prices were bumped so much. Something or someone had to pay for all the marketing colaterals.
The profile concept came from an exhibit at the Porsche Museum in Zuffenhausen. I was fortunate to see it last March while on a Germany trip w/ son to pick up his new BMW M3 in Munich. We did all the big museums (Porsche, Mercedes Benz, Audi and BMW) while we were there.

Still waiting for mine to show up. One thing that the 991 will get when you trade wheelbase for reduced hangovers is a higher chance of top centering. While I don't care for rubbing the bottom of the front end occasionally, I don't think I would like high centering either.

If any of you interested in the 991 from a more technical deep-dive, or are going to order one, there is a new publication you may be interested in.
At the PCA Tech Tactics East, held last week, I picked up the 991 Service Information/Technical Introduction book.
It is 258 pages of detailed information and color diagrams on all of the 991 systems and construction. The material in the book appeared to be the basis of the slide briefing given by the Porsche Cars North America reps.
I do not know if the dealers have access to it, but the part number is PNA 911 021 12. I believe it was about $30.
