There are some nice looking center caps on e-bay, has anyone tried them?

I alos was thinking about buying some of these, knowing they are "knock off's" they're a lot cheaper than the $ 200 can that the local dealer wants for them. Looking at them in the box at the dealership there aint much to them, all plastic.

I think some are flat, concave and convex

if you pick the right ones, I think I remember the name Ken, they are just as good as factory, and 1/4 the cost.

Years ago I bought some center-caps on fleabay about $70,, don't remember the seller. When they arrived I was pleased, but after about a year on the car they had faded and lost all color. Wish I had gone with real OEM.

Try Sunset in Portland for pricing. They have always beat other dealers and OEM parts suppliers.

I've always been surprised and disappointed that, at the price, the OEM center caps are plastic. I'm always expecting mine to fall off, though they never have, even at the track, so perhaps Porsche does have some idea what they are doing. Still, I have seen metal aftermarket center caps out there, and when I do lose one I might be inclined to try those.
