Default Porsche Driving School and the 997

Just curious as to when Porsche will stop using the 997 in their driving schools? I would like to take the course in a 997 before the 991's replace them. I'm not planning to get the 991 anytime soon, at least not the first couple of years.

Someone at Porsche should be able to give you a proper answer. Call your local dealer to get a ph number for Georgia and their driving center and see what they can tell you.

Don' know when, but I would sign-up really soon.
I would think you have the 1st quarter of 2012 to experience the 997 then is onto the new car.

Follow MJones advice. He has attended PSDS many times.

Default Porsche Sport Driving School Dec 2-3

Anyone on the forums attending the Porsche Sport Driving School on December 2-3? I will be there alone and it would be cool to connect with someone before we go!

Hear hear! My only negative thought is that I can't think of any setting near Carson that's nearly as nice as the Ross Bridge Hotel. It's a long bus ride from the Ritz-Carlton or the St. Regis Monarch Beach in Laguna Niguel. But if they structured it as a "day event" rather than the "total experience" in Alabama I think they'd get a LOT of business from the west coast.

But the idea of driving 50 miles to attend PSDS, instead of flying 2K miles, sure sounds good! I've did the Performance and Masters classes in '09, and hope to do Performance + sometime soon.
