Thinking about pulling the trigger on set of Carrera Sports and the feedback I've gotten from the board is that I should be fine using my 295s on them. I would love to see a pic if anyone has done this (would hate to mount them only to realize that it looks odd).

brand 295? some run narrow.. i used 305's because the nitto's ran narrow..

bridgestones run really narrow.

 

Michelin Pilot Super Sports - Wheel Enhancement says these run wider.

 

i have 305's SS on 11.5. It fits flush and looks great!

 

I was in the same position as you. The rears are 295s mounted on 11.5 inch rims.

I can't notice any difference. I appreciate your concern, but it certainly doesn't look "odd". I can't speak to performance issues because I haven't had 305s on the rears for comparison, but visually I don't think you'll notice a difference. For me, the Carrera Sports were nice enough that I was willing to give it a try.
