I use Suncoast Porsche's wheel brush. Check their website for pix and info. Works very well.

Oh yeah, +1 on the ace turbo stick. This combined with Sonax wheel cleaner = squeaky clean wheels with almost no work involved. All you need is a cordless drill.

And seriously, the best one I have tried was the infamous household Swiffer Dusters (our wife or girlfriend might already have one at home.) It works like a charm.

- Its handle has a low profile sharp that can reach into wide wheels, yet its back is soft rubber (no metal parts) that won't scratch the brake rotor accidentally.

- Its dusters are designed to be disposable. I usually use one duster per wheel, and then throw the dirty duster away. A fresh duster for each wheel guarantees no scratches by old debris from previous brushing.

- It is easy to get, many local retailing stores (Target, Safeway, Costco, etc.) carry it and always have it in stock. No need to order online and wait for days for the brushes/refills to arrive.

- Give it a try.

With best regards,

Exactly what I use to dust the interior. Works great.

+1!

I've been using the same brush on my bikes for years.. it works great for getting the insides of the wheels clean. No exposed metal rod/tip/etc to scratch the parts.

As a matter of fact, check out the photo here: http://www.glisteningperfectionstore...tail%2C/Detail

For Domer911, not sure why your leaf blower isn't getting the job done.. I use mine to blow the water off my car, my truck and my bikes.

Try Wheel Woolies. They come in 3 sizes and the largest one it great to clean the inner wheels. The best thing is that they are super soft and do not have any metal wiring on the brushes. You can buy them from Pakshak.com or auto geek.

Anything longer?
Is that with the standard handle or the long handle. They now have two sizes. I have the long handle version and have no problem with the rear wheels

I have the Carrera Classic wheels on my 997 so I bought the Griots brush for them. But I found it easier just to use the micro fiber wash mitt instead.

I got tired of searching for a wheel brush myself. Was passing through my local hardware store when I spotted a mini paint roller that I thought would make a good one.

I hacksawed off the bendy part past the straight stem, and then jammed the roller onto the leftover stick. It works pretty good. I wish it had a little more reach on it for those wide back wheels, and the nap could be fluffier, but it does okay for a $2 hackjob.

I bought a long handled soft bristled brush bottle brush like the kind you use in the kitchen for less than $5. Works perfectly and reaches the inside of my 11 inch deep rear wheels. Took a few stops to find a long handle brush but couldn't be more pleased with both cost and performance.

Harley Davidson makes a spoke brush that works well on the rims and can get back to clean the rim. The brush is small enough to slide behind the brake pads too.
Not expensive either.

If I implied that my wife was the owner of all of the housecleaning supplies she would probably go all Lorena Bobbitt on me.

Thumbs down Daytona Brushes - what a waste of money!

I tried the Daytona brushes, small and large. They arrived last Wednesday, I used them on Saturday, and threw them in the trash on Sunday. What a waste of money!

The bristles are too soft and too long to get the the tough stuff. If you are cleaning wheels that are already 98% clean, they will probably work OK. But for cleaning the wheels after driving for more than a week when it rained a couple of times and "set" the brake dust, these got about 80% of the brake dust off.

The $4.00 "micro fiber covered sponge on a plastic handle" thingie I bought at the local Autozone worked MUCH better.
