so I'm driving along with my family minding my own business and up pulls some guys in sedan, yelling obscenities and racial slurs us. I have a 8 yr old and a 5 yr old in the back seats of my GTS and they threatening to "run us off the road". They start yelling at my wife and giving her the finger, this was totally unprovoked. I wasn't driving too fast or crazy. They pulled up next to the driver's side and tells me that I should go back to my own country and I replied I'm there! Then they throw a coke can at my car! WTF??? Really?

That's BS. Don't take it personal, there are jerks and morons everywhere, regardless of where you live. It's a shame that your kids had to see that though. Sounds like you were the better man.

thank you everyone, I appreciate your support. More than anything else I'm just venting. This all happened in Southern California and the guys were all Caucasian driving an older chevy caprice (ex cop car). I'm Asian and ironically grew up in an all Caucasian neighborhood and NEVER had experienced something this extreme in my past. The worse part was explaining to my kids why this happened, we live in a great friendly neighborhood and until now they had never experienced this... I keep telling them there are more Good People in the World than bad but we need to accept them but NEVER be them...

Its a real shame that this happened to you, hate to say it you are not the only one, regardless of your skin color. I have had numerous times pick up trucks want to run me off the road for no apparent reason, one of them almost successfully. I called the cops on them though

Envy is a terrible thing, its easy for people to blame others for their own personal failures. And its sad.

Good on you for keeping your temper in check.

I had the same experience with my kids in my Carrera.
It's a great opportunity to teach your kids:
1. There are scambags out there.
2.never apology for your success.
3. if someone needs to feel good about their skin color, it's very sad for them

When stuff like that happens to me when driving my 911, I just hold my cellphone to my ear and watch the cowards flee. Works every time. Never a cop around when you need one though.
