i would not put carbon lip on a car - it will crack from any contact with a ground. lips are disposable and you do need something that will bend at contact.

Haven't seen FVD lip in my previous searches, looks like descent option but I'm trying to like the design as I think it looks bit too aggressive.

Agree that gt3/aero is best looking option but I still quite like the stock bumper, just needs a bit more flare

Techart lip, I have a hard time liking this design.

dw.metro - your car looks sick, can you post some pics of your front end. Your car looks pretty low, so maybe theres hope for a lip lasting 2+years. Good to hear that Rotec has good quality work

mzn50 - your lip looks the biz! Reminds me of the 991 optional one. Too bad there isn't a similar design for 997.1

i'm in the middle of a front valance conversion for my 968. as i'm now getting better with plastics, i'm gonna try to make one up that's a bit smaller and doesn't extend out quite so much as a couple of these aftermarket lips.

I've been looking for a subtle lip also. I really want the Rinspeed all around, but no one seems to sell it anymore. I guess this is their earlier production for the kit. All i find is the new/more aggressive indy kit that they have.

I went Hamman, great looking but much more agrresive and costly.
Hey mickfluff, pretty nice front lip. What kind of spoiler is that? I've been looking for a spoiler that sits as low as the 997 TT but have had no luck. The closest I've found if the TechArt type III, but that still seem kind of high.

Hi from France, guys.

I am glad I found this Topic. Currently own a 997 4S 3.8L (phase II) in Carrara white. I like the front bumper but it is a bit too rounded, and needs a bit of flaring. And it is SO hard to find a lip for the Phase 2.

Here is my car, then some pics of cars I really like. I am not so keen on the Techart lip. In fact there a very few lips, most of the ones I see are on a "GT3-aerokit" type bumper. I am loath to change the whole bumper.

I am with you re. the Techart design... Utkinpol's lip looks absolutely similar to the Techart design...

Here, are you all talking about the Facelift 997? Or the first generation?

I cannot find anything for the 997.2 !!!!

I like the look of the EZ lip since it just making the 997 look a bit more planted without being too much.

I haven't got it myself but read it's polyurethane so it doesn't scratch and can probably take some beating. Maybe hard to align perfectly so it looks smooth? Anyone tried? Can't find many pics but here's one.
