Default Any front lips for 997 Carrera

I am looking for a front lip for a 997 that is not too aggressive looking. I like the style of the stock 997 turbo lip, especially because its plastic and easily replaceable. Anyone have recommendations?

Rottec has a pretty good one! I've seen it in person and it looks good!

Thanks for recommendation guys.

Rotec looks to be the best option thus far

Side question, anyone with lowered suspension + front lip have scraping issues? My car is lowered right now and I seem to scrape the little mudflaps (in front of front wheels) from time to time. I know scraping is inevitable, but would like lip to last 2 years +

Default scraping

Thanks

Short answer is yes, if you car is lowered and you add a lip gear up for a royal pain. Part of the world of modding. How u pull in and out of any incline/decline will be done very differently.

Thats said, imo front end of a stock 997 car is way to bland, needs something....the Rotec lip is a great option for the $. gt3 nose a better option but more $$$.

+1 on the factory aero/gt3 front. My lip is about 4 inches off the ground and will scrape unless vigilant with rises, speed bumps, and small animals.

Techart also make an add-on lip of PU-RIM which may be a little more forgiving than fiberglass or CF.

I've had the Rottec CF lip for a year now. My car is lowered and yes, it does scrape if not careful. Despite all the scrapes, it's held up really well. I think you will need to budget for a new lip every 2-3 years. A small price to pay for a finished front end look!
