What did you do to your 997 today?

Got my car back from the body guy yesterday...he fixed the scrape on the left side of the rear bumper
And, I just finished installing the B&M short shifter I got off a fellow rennlister. Easy install, and the shift throw is sweet. Gonna take a nice long drive in a few minutes or so. Damn it, gotta go pick up a replacement front tire at Discount. Michelin Pilot Super Sport split inside the outer groove, getting a new one for free...then off for the drive!
Party on...

Replaced my Cam Position Sensor on bank 2 that seems to have resolved the misfires and CEL I was getting.

The DME needs to know the position if the cams for the banks to time the firing of the spark correctly. If it doesn't know when the valves are opening and closing, it can't time the spark correctly which will result in misfires. If it's a single cylinder misfiring it's usually not that, but if all 3 on only one bank and not the other bank then this is likely the issue, as in my case.

Three Wheelin'
Oil change. Getting close to 50k miles. Looking at my notes looks like I changed spark plugs 4 years ago on a 2011. Seems I jumped the gun back then but I was installing new mufflers .... so why not.
Another reason to get under a car. Had I not been looking things over i would have missed the fact that a weld holding my exhaust in place had separated. Who doesn't need another project.
Washed the car too.
