sport mode? with out sport chrono

hi i was wondering if the dealer can enable sport mode on sport chrono? even if i dont have the sport chrono package? i have 2005 c2s

No, if it is not there, they can't enable it.
You can add Sport Chrono. (U.S. prices) Tip/PDK $1,200 (or Manual $900), + dealer labor to install. Does not include dash mounted timer, which can also be purchased

Did you talk to the parts guy or a salesman?
Give the the parts guy this number 9X7SM. After he "discovers" the part on the system, have him transfer you to the Service Manager. Ask theSM how much they cahrge to install Sport Chrono. If he says it can't be retrofitted........ find a different dealer!

i talked to the service guy, and the problem is where i live there's only one porsche dealer if i want to find another one i'll have to drive 2 hrs

If the car does not come with the mounted timer, are you sure you can purchase it seperately to retrofit? I would think it is going to be a lot of work.
I know you can purchase the timer IF your car already have it mounted and maybe it was spoilt. But to drill a hole into the dash seems quite a feat.

How would this compare to Softronics ECU remap?
