I went for a drive up to the Rock Store in Malibu, CA. in my new to me 2006 Carrera S with factory Aerokit Cup and stopped to take a few pictures. I have had the car for a few months now and I am really enjoying it. I specifically looked for an aero car and found this one in Northern California. $200 to remove the window tint and fix a small dent, and it looks near perfect to me. It has some nice options in addition to the aerokit like PSE, sport chrono and sport seats. Some interior touches like carbon fiber accents and red belts are pretty cool too.
The car performs really well. It is fast, has excellent brakes and steering. The sport chrono with PSE button is on almost exclusively, as it really livens up the throttle and adds a sporty tone to the exhaust. The seats are really comfortable. I made the drive home to Southern California in seven hours, and not once did my back get stiff or sore. I can't speak to the comfort of the regular seats, but I can say that the sport seats are perfect for me.
I have been told that the car is heavier than my previous 911's, but it has such good power, I can't tell much difference. Plus, the air conditioning and sound system are fantastic. So I will gladly trade a few hundred pounds for some improved cabin comforts.

Very nice C2S!
I have to admit, I'm very jealous of the roads you have available to you. I would love to be living back in SoCal just for the roads!

Congrats on a gorgeous find. I bought an '06 C2S a few months ago as well and am absolutely loving it. Haven't had a chance to bring it up to the Rock Store yet, but it's on the list.
Enjoy it!

Thanks for all the replies. I agree that we do have some of the best driving roads here in Southern California. The roads around the Rock Store are a good deal of fun as I know them intimately from my motorcycling days. With that being said, I take it pretty easy when I drive up there. I have seen some nasty wrecks during the years with multiple injuries and even fatalities.
The painted front lip on the car does look better. However, as soon as I leave my garage, that all ends. When I got the car, the front lip was in decent shape and somewhat presentable, but all it takes is about a ten minute drive to anywhere to change that. I was told by a Porsche employee that the lower lip was designed to be a 'throw away' piece of the car. I forget the exact words that the he used, but I think he was right. The lip itself can handle a bit of scraping, but the paint on it cracks and peels and it looks terrible. I'll stick with the stock black lip. If it's good enough for the GT3, it is good enough for my car.
No interior shots yet. I will try to get some taken this weekend and get them posted. It's sand beige, which is nice, but I would prefer black as it does not reflect on the interior of the windshield when it's bright outside. Some red floor mats might be in order as well.

Thanks for the compliments. I'm really enjoying it and glad I bought it every time I drive it.
I look forward to meeting some of you at a track day here in Southern California soon.
