Default Wheel Fitment Question

Looking at getting some aftermarket wheels instead of painting my stock wheels.

My question is...

Will these fit my 2006 C4S.

They say they will but in regards to Hub bore and all the other technical stuff I want to make sure.

I still may paint my stock Sport Classic wheels but if I ever resell or trade in, bone stock is always better.

Thanks for your help, here's the link...

(moderator: I am not selling these wheels)

What wheels do you have on the new car? Drive it a bit before modding!

I recommend Carrera Sport Wheels, looks AMAZING with silver cars!

Frontside720,

Your OEM wheels should have the width of the wheel in inches and the offset in MM stamped on either side of the air stem, something like this ==> 8 || 52 This example means the wheel is 8" wide with a 52MM offset. Of course, the values on you wheels me be slightly different than this example. If you stay at or near your OEM wheel dimensions, you will be fine.

you better be very careful with cheap aftermarket wheels. they wont be hub centric, wont have correct offset, tires will be hard to put on and off, will have cheap finishes, will break and crack easily

stock wheels are F: 55 or 57 and R: 50 or 51.

I would'nt buy "roderick wheels". It's like Usain Bolt wearing shoes from Payless shoes.

+1 on no name aftermarket wheels STAY AWAY...for many reasons.

For aftermarket wheels go with names like CCW (yes they make awesome looking pretty wheels too)Forgeline, OZ, HRE, BBS...these are the really good ones.

++1 on that as well. Ebay wheels may look nice and be a cheaper alternative option for your Porsche but you will pay for it in other ways as others have already aluded to in fit/finish and even costly repairs at some point or replacement costs. Went that route with my 1st 911 (996) and regretted it. Since then have either found a set of good used OEM wheels off the forum from another member or brought a reputable brand as Mdrums suggests.

Last two sets on my 997's have been BBS CH-R's . Great wheel. Good fitment. Look great. If you're interested in getting value on your OEM's either via sale or trade check with Dave at www.wheelenhancements.com in Culver City, CA. Highly recommend them, good selection, and fair on value paid for your trade OEM wheels also. Good luck!
