I predict that the 997 models will be seen to be the nicest looking of the near-modern "911" cars--much like the 993s have been recognized by the air-cooled crowd. What's not to like about a car that looks like yours??

I have to agree. I love my air cooled 911's, but the 997 models seem to have that timeless design to them that may age very well in the coming decades...

About 25,000 miles on the clock for the three years. Atlas Grey, Stone Grey top, with Black/Stone Grey interior. It is my daily driver, but since I'm retired it doesn't get driven every day!

Yep, it's the major reason I bought my new GTS and didn't wait for the 991. IMHO the 997 is just right and regardless of model year will age well. I think the 997 captures the classic 911 silhouette and esssence perfectly. Even my wife comments on how "classic" the 997 looks. Hey, I've got to keep her happy, right?

Lookin good; miles are fine for a 3 y/o 997. Will make for a great sale, if ever.
